There are domestic flights available to Surat Thani from Don Meuang airport in Bangkok.

It is not possible to fly from any other domestic airport.

With Royal Thai , a one way ticket will cost 1,885 baht (2,440 with fees & taxes) with flights leaving at 9:35am and arriving at 10:50am, and a 5:05pm departure arriving at 6:20pm.

With Air Asia, a one way ticket costs 1,199 baht (1,512 with fees & taxes), leaving at 11:25am and arriving at 12:35pm.

It's better to arrive early in the morning rather than after dark.

The airport is 35km from the city, though a shuttle buses runs regularly for the city centre.
