Loving Kindness

 

After chanting there will be a few minutes of loving kindness meditation.

 

Different friends teach slightly different methods for this meditation.

 

Usually, the first step is to feel, or visualise, the love you have.

 

This can be difficult for some people. It is suggested that you work with the meditation regardless as this can help.

 

Next, different groups of people are visualised and you share your love with each group in turn.

 

These may include parents and family, partners and loved ones, teachers, leaders and even enemies or people you dislike.

 

Different groups of people can generate different levels of difficulty in sharing your love with them. This is usual. It is suggested that you work with the meditation regardless as this can help.
