Shoulder Swinging Exercise

 

Ajaan Po will tell of his shoulder swinging exercise early in the retreat.

 

Stand with shoulder width apart, relaxed, looking at the horizon.

 

Bring both arms forward to about 30 degrees from the body.

 

Swing both arms backwards to about 45-60 degrees from the body.

 

Repeat, with one swing taking a second or two.

 

Swing for a few minutes and do more each day.

 

At nearly 80 years old, Ajaan Po still does 800 of these daily.
