Mindfulness

 

When something fills your mind entirely, you are mindful of it.

 

If you are doing one thing and thinking of another, your are not fully aware of what you are doing.

 

This way, awareness becomes fragmented and concentration merely flits from one focus to another.

 

When you are sitting, just sit.

 

When you are walking, just walk.

 

When you are eating, just eat.

 

Being mindful tends to bring heightened levels of energy.
